Seriously though, depends what you mean by "better" The spec C might be a bit hardcore for some. How about the Type 25?

Yeah I saw them, but 30k is too much IMHO.
If I go for another scooby its for my Mrs to use everyday and for me when I want a play and I am thinking more in the 20k region i.e spec c.

nice, unregistered, spec c here
imported by prosport in stockport, and at the right price too, damn, I wish I could afford it
I've seen it in the flesh, and it's worth the trip from wherever you live to buy it.
A spec c for the wife though! mmm, does she like manual windows and a "jiggery" ride
chris.

Id get some quotes on a Spec C before you put your heart into it, if your under 30 you can kiss it goodbye, over 30 and your still going to be paying in the region of 1k+

rizzy, where are you in mcr? you'll have to come out with the smacs if your local. A local club, for local people
As tony says, get a quote for insurance before you get the car, 37, 7 yrs ncb, garaged, just under 1k with "a" plan!
Ouch!

It obviously depends where you live but I am paying just over £900 for a Spec C (which was only £190 odd dearer than a bog standard MY03 UK STi). 34yrs young, 7 yrs ncb, protected, SD&P, no limiting mileage, 1 claim, no convictions, garaged. I didnt think that was expensive for an import tbh.

Shaun.
