Try calling some places that do ECUtek or other remaps, they should / could know what the codes mean and advise what it is and what they can do for you?

For info, my old / original ECU ( MY94 WRX wagon, TD04 turbo etc. ) had the codes

V9
A18-000 RJ7 3X14 JECS

2261 1 AB750

I think it was known as a V9 ... same as the Z4 is known for its code.

Dunno if that helps!

AFAIK a 3B is out of a Wagon, but not sure on year. But somewhere between 93-96.
Mapped for the TD04 with boost peaking at 10.5psi then dropping to 6.8psi at 6,200rpm.

Yes 3B is jap wagon with td04

I take it you want to uprate your ecu while you have to replace it (your other is bost)?
Really there is no better replacement for the td04 on the classic other than getting a proper remap via the piggyback chip. Most like me have gone down the turbo upgrade route changing to a td05 and then using a z4 ecu to give a good power increase as well as been able to hold far more boost at the top end.
