I was just suppling the link for what scooby-si wanted.
Must admit though alot of the vehicles i have tried it out on (standard cars) it has been very close to what the manufacturer has quoted.
But there are lots of other variables to take into account though.

Obviously it is only a calculation, it cant allow for everything, but I thought it was a good effort and quite interesting too.

However sceptical you may be about the performance calculator it does seem to be quite accurate .

I have an evo 6 and the standard figures below are bang on !
Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 276Weight without Driver (KG) : 1365Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 205.440 - 60 (Secs) : 4.880 - 100 (Secs) : 13.1060 - 100 (Secs) : 8.21Quarter Mile (Secs) : 13.61Terminal Speed (MPH) : 101.92Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 13.21Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 105.18

I have several mods done to mine which take it to 320
Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 320Weight without Driver (KG) : 1365Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 238.200 - 60 (Secs) : 4.290 - 100 (Secs) : 11.1960 - 100 (Secs) : 6.89Quarter Mile (Secs) : 12.97Terminal Speed (MPH) : 107.68Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 12.57Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 111.22

Which seems about right.
Cheers

Paul.

Its not far out

Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 556
Weight without Driver (KG) : 1250
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 451.94
0 - 60 (Secs) : 2.84
0 - 100 (Secs) : 6.78
60 - 100 (Secs) : 3.93
Quarter Mile (Secs) : 11.29
Terminal Speed (MPH) : 129.05
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 10.89
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 133.58

Andy

ps It does suggest you would need to be under 1200kg AND over 800bhp to get into the 9's though !!

Aahh, flaw in programme, keep reducing weight and the 1/4 time doesn't drop ??
