JDM WRX performance?
Anyone know the stats for a JDM WRX03 (0-60, 0-100, etc) - it has been mapped for 98 Ron - feels about the same as my old MY97 UK Turbo - but nowhere near as quick as my MY97 Sti - any ideas - JDM versions of the 03 WRX seem to be extremely rare! Cheers

Sorted - timed myself last time on long flat road (private) - stats as follows - I am chuffed to bits;
0-60 - 4.1 seconds
0-100 - 10.6 seconds
1/4 mile - 12.89 (terminal 124mph)
I also carried on and the clock read 168mph
I didn't think a standard JDM WRX would be this quick - I am chuffed - these cars must be sleepers!

....should also mention that I was gentle on the clutch - factor figures for aggressive launch - maybe deduct another 2/10's - could be more I guess - hey - that makes me in the 3's to 60mph and in the 9's to 100mph - sorted - now for the mods!

No way - I recorded these times with total precision - in fact on the 1/4 mile - I actually turned the watch on and placed it on the passenger seat before starting! I guess I must take some credit for driving skills as well as the JDM version of the WRX03 - maybe a more ordinary driver couldn't post these times.

just looked at the results from TOTB 3 - reckon I would have placed Top 10 - on a bad day! Anyone know the dates for this year - will try and get strut brace and dawes added before I go. Cheers

Well spotted Brun - I did ask politely if anyone knew the performance specs for the JDM WRX03 which I got last week. As I got no replies I had to spend the morning resorting to 'goading' Scoobynetters into a response! Err - it didn't work - I still don't know the specs for my car! Doh - I know, I know, I'm going - Moderator - move me to MUPPETS please!

either or would be good - it has been re-mapped to 98 RON so I doubt it will be making anywhere near the original figures. It fells comparable to the old UK turbo (standard I had) - unfortunately the Sti in between has muddled my memory somewhat!
