Default STI8 Advice

Looking to buy a STI8 but was wondering how much it was worth, spec as follows:

Standard STI 8
Registered June 04
2 owners
WR Blue
6000 miles
Bodywork in good condition, some minor stone chips
Alloys in good condition
All relevant documentation and keys

So how much is it worth?

Thanks
Nad

Current Franchised Dealer prices show approx £20k+ for a MY04 STi and £22k+ for a MY04 STi.

I would say hang out...... I managed to pick up a MY03 STi with PPP and Prodrive Handling Pack for a little over £17k. The bargains are out there as it's a buyers market if you have the readies.

Regards,
Shaun.

Been looking for my first Scooby for a while now and i've not found any "bargains". Most of the MY04 WRX STI's i've seen are being advertised for at least £18.5k to £20K.

Therefore, is the STI i stated really over priced?

Please help!

A bit overpriced at £19k private. If it were me I would go for the revised MY05 model EU Import £21k ish new.

It was advertised for £19k but due to the owner having limited interest, i've managed to negotiate to £18300...still over priced?

Not finished with the negotiating yet!!! It is definately a UK car, have checked with a local Subaru dealership.

I find it odd that STI values on SN seem a lot lower than STI valuations elsewhere

£18300 is a good price. Remember if you want to add PPP later it will be an extra £2000. If you do go for the car make sure you get an HPI check done.

The 2005 model was updated and so this has pushed down prices of the older model. The market for Scoobs generally seems very poor at the moment.

Just bought a 54 plate Sti (reg Sept 04) with only 2800 miles for 21k.

The car is immaculate and I got a good Part Ex price on my 02 WRX.

I don't think prices on Scoobynet are that flattering with buyers wanting them for nowt.

Mal,

Just out of interest what did you get for you 02 WRX? Was it from the Subaru Garage in Mboro?

PM me if you don't want to show it on here

Cheers

STi 8?? You mean STi 04. I recently bought an 03 STi, as new, 7000 miles, 1 owner, no stone chips!!! For £17500, from a dealer near Gatwick Airport. Dec 2003 model, UK car, Subaru warranty/breakdown assistance to Dec 2006. Shop around, there are plenty for sale, and it's a buyers market. Good luck.

People on here got some good deals. I got my STI 03 a week ago for just over £16. I was looking for weeks and only saw one car that was a better buy - but just missed it (16.5 with PPP).

Totally standard car, only benefits were an extra years warranty. At 18,300 Yours looks like a good price as far as I can see, but then again I refused to travel more than fifty miles for a car and wanted one in black,

Good luck anyway,

Jerry
