Requirements for US- STi Import
I am trying to figure out what I will have to do to my US version STi if registered to the UK. What will I have to change on it and what kind of taxes am i required to pay?
If anyone has any info I appreciate it. Thanks

The car will need to be ESVA'd and you will need to pay export and import taxes (dont know how much the yanks do for export taxes but the uk import tax is 17.5%)
Then you have shipping etc.

Import Duty will be listed in the HM C&E 'Tarif' but its likely to be 10% of car cost plus all expences including shipping: VAT at 17.5% will be added to the total.
Whether export tax would apply I dont know although I doubt it as youre positively adding to their balance of trade; it was an imported vehicle after all...

Mot changes I made
I was able to scam out of getting indicator repeaters by moving my indicaters up front to the outside. I'll run out and take a pic in a moment. The car will also need a rear foglight of some sort. I will take a picture of what I did here as well. That was all I had to change. I recommend ordering some oil filters from the states now. every place i have looked here in the UK say the model we need is obsolete and try to sell us the old(bigger) one.

OK
here is where the front blinker resides
Rear fogs
again
hope that helps. I can show which wires I spliced when I have enough time to pull it apart.
