Smile Im NEW NEW NEW!

Hello ppl

Im new to all this, looking for some motoring fun.

Its been 6 months of owning my '02 WRX so far and every day im still amazed at how much i enjoy this car.

Its bog standard at the mo, apart from a Prodrive spoiler and clear side repeaters. On my wish list for the future is a performance air filter, back box, bits inside, ICE.

I would love to hear ppls thoughts on what my best options are. Its my Bday in April so ill get some things ordered.

Rich

Ok so exhaust is on the list, but which one???

Oval, twin, rolled in, out? Big bin style big enough to drive a chunnel train through?

Im open to ideas. Oh it has to be quite so it dont wake my elderly neighbours........;-) Nah!

hi

3.5 magnex round back box, best quality and respected but low cost

then............and if you have the money, and in this order....

Replace downpipe...and centre pipe at same time or full de-cat if you like, green panel filter (dont need ind kit) and re-mapp the ecu at TSL ,as they mapp the car on the road, not a ramp

cost ?

450 for box ,centre,and downpipes

Remapp around 700

Power gains ? well i reckon around 40 to 50 bhp more,

if you want to further

brake up grade ,eibach springs, wheel inch increase to 17,18 to make use of the cars increased torq.. then it gets silly..............

fuel pump upgrade and injectors ,,,FMIC (front mounted intercooler) replace turbo, det guages and on and on and on

I am no expert but thats what i think with what i know,, ive often wondered why no one has done a step by step guide to mods on a car, including ICE. with cost and wkat make part to use etc

Anyway mate

Welcome !
