From my recent experience,if they haven't heard of the PPP.Then they will only recognise it as a chip upgrade,
either...
+5-15%
or
+15-45% power increase...etc
Try A-Plan of Thatcham, they've heard of it

I've said it's an official dealer fitted upgrade that gives a power increase of X%(depends on the PPP version), and slotted in phrases such as 'official factory approved' as often as possible.

Just told them PPP plus all the other stuff and it all jumped the premium up to £ 670 from about 100 cheaper.
You just got to speak to people who know what they are on about. Try NFU, Northampton office, can't remember number off the top of my head. All mods described in detail, no, faff, understood what was going on , and a very competative premium. I was well please, until I sold the scooby about 3 weeks ago that is Slow old car world for me for a while now.....

Have you already bought the PPP, or are you just preparing?
You realise there are other ways of upgrading power for a lot less? PPP is warranty-friendly, but you shouldn't need that on a Terzo.
Hope this helps.

PPP made approx 15% increase to my insurance and come renewal time some companies wouldn't even quote. I'm >30 and have not made a claim in 14 years. It would have been significantly cheaper to insure a WR1 than a WRX PPP.

Be aware that Admiral do not insure PPP - although there is some confusion!
http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=384193
Also, do not fall into the trap of insuring a WRX STi PRODRIVE as this refers ONLY to the different bodykit version of the 02 STi NOT a PPP'd STi.
Be very wary and ensure you get the mods listed in writing on the policy.
