hi and a few questions...
hi,
i'm a newbie if you hadn't guessed, my names chris and i'm from sunny scarborough, i drive a honda crx(mk2 of course) and i joined as i have a silly idea, which is basicly sloting a scooby engine in the front and useing the drive train to convert the car to 4wd and to do that i would like to know a few things:
roughly what size is a sti/wrx engine?
is there any year or type of engine to stay away from?
and what is the wheelbase and width?
cheers for any help
chris
p.s. i know how silly this sounds

Scooby Regular
Why not just get a Scooby ? Servicing some components on a Scooby engine is hard enough when they're where they're supposed to be You do know they are a little unconventional don't you

Dave, as you only w**k one or two days a week, surely you'd have enough time on your hands to give the lad a hand...
You could have a paddle on the golden sands every so often as a break / treat

simply cos i like to be different and a good challence, the engine is fairly compact and has plenty of punch, and the rex would take well to 4wd and some more power with it been light and good handleing sould be fun as a track and drag race. atm its all plans in my head if its gonna be to much hassle i might well just get one.
