Smile Bug/Blob with Deltadash ?

I am looking for acceleration figures for the WRX, Sti UK & JDM and also PPP versions.
Ideally in 3rd for the 5spd and 4th for the 6spd cars.
30-50, 50-70 and 70-90.

cheers

Andy,

Copy of 3rd gear road dyno run from last April with about 3k miles:

Dyno Test: 3rdgear080404
========================

Maximum Wheel Power: 211.0 BHP @ 5420 RPM
Maximum Wheel Torque: 222.9 LbFt @ 4245 RPM
Power to weight ratio: 136.1 BHP per ton

Terminal velocity due to power: 163.0 mph

In Gear Acceleration:
40 - 60mph = 3.1 seconds
50 - 70mph = 3.0 seconds
60 - 80mph = 3.3 seconds

Speed per 1000 RPM:
1st: 5.4 mph
2nd: 9.6 mph
3rd: 13.7 mph
4th: 19.3 mph
5th: 25.4 mph

Maximum Speed per Gear:
1st: 38.6 mph
2nd: 68.5 mph
3rd: 97.6 mph
4th: 137.2 mph
5th: 180.7 mph

Total Vehicle Mass: 1550kg
Drag Co-efficient: 0.37
Frontal Area: 2.20 square metres
Wheel/Tyre Setup: 215/45/17
Engine Rev Limit: 7100
Test gear: 3
Max Speed of gear: 98 mph

Done on a fresh full tank of Optimax

Only one of those times matches the range your'e after, but I've got quite a few 3rd & 4th gear logs that those accel ranges can be worked out from. Taken from Spring and Summer last year. Any use to you?

Thanks Nick, thats great

Any of the increments ie 30-50, 40-60, 50-70, 60-80, 70-90 are useful

If you select "light smoothing" you may also get the 30-50 and 70-90 figures, on the normal "heavy" setting it clips the two ends off the graph, this makes the power figure more realistic but has no effect on the in gear speeds/times.

Here's info with light smoothing -
Dyno Test: 3rdgear080404
========================

Maximum Wheel Power: 242.9 BHP @ 6035 RPM
Maximum Wheel Torque: 246.2 LbFt @ 5010 RPM
Power to weight ratio: 156.7 BHP per ton

Terminal velocity due to power: 170.8 mph

In Gear Acceleration:
30 - 50mph = 3.7 seconds
40 - 60mph = 3.0 seconds
50 - 70mph = 3.0 seconds
60 - 80mph = 3.2 seconds

33 wheel bhp at the click of a mouse - If only it was really that cheap and easy in the real world.
