Default why???

Hi all

I went to a rr day yesterday and was disapionted on what i saw , my 97 uk turbo with centre de cat and magnex back box and ,dump valve, got 225 bhp .
I was expecting more or was i being over optimistic?

the rr road in question was surrey rollin rd .

Any thoughts ?

Please be gentle

Dan

do you have a pic of the graph as the peak bhp doesn't really say much.

do you have a power at wheels graph as that would be a better indicator of what your car is doing.

also did your car make the same boost on the RR as it does on the road?

this is known to happen and give you a lower reading than you should have.

i would say thats about right for the year
when i took mine it ran 224hp and 200lb/ft
mine is a my94 wagon that was standard at the time
apart from a panel filter
now it has full decat(tsl downpipe and magnex centre and b/b)
scoobyecu
should be good for about 260 i reckon
will get it on the r/r when clutch is done
it started to slip when i got the d/p done
my graph showed that it had 112 at the wheels which i thought was quite low
cant beleive it lost 100+ thru transmission

i dont really understand the graphs to be honest if i could get them on here it would help i know , but when i save the pics to disc it comes up all green lines???

208 bhp standard so you have gained 17 bhp by changeing the center and rear of exhaust not a bad gain for a simple change of exhaust (dump valve will not increase bhp)
