10k seems a fairly good price for either. Mines a MY00 WRX ( X reg) and its a bug eye so is the one you've seen a classic? I assume so. I can't fault my bug eye at all, never a problem with it. Its a personal thing at the bottom line. pay your money, take your choice. Enjoy.

i would have a late classic. i had a my97 and now have my04. my97 faster than the MY04 and better looking then the bug.
blob has grown on me now and i prefer its looks , but classic still faster.

Classic=lighter/faster ( standard )/older
Bugeye=More rigid/better interior/newer
Both cars will make you but for me the new-age cars are a little more grown up, grown up is not always better
You need to weigh up miles, condition, history, warranty, extras, and finally what you want from a car
I like the bug, others would'nt p*ss on a bug if it was on fire, its personal choice
