Default Help! Anyone had a front end repair?

Last July I was involved in a car crash when someone pulled out in front of me. My car went to my approved repairer and came back with a number of faults. After discussion with my insurer it was returned to the approved repairer and guess what, it came back with more faults than it went back with.

My insurer have agreed to have it repaired at a garage specified by myselfso I sent it over to my Subaru recommended repairer. Thing is they want to strip down the car before they do any work because the previous repairer elongated some of the wing holes to make it fit! So I'm stuck in limbo.

Can anyone who's had a front end stack and a new wing please take a look under their bonnet and see if the wing holes have been elongated. My insurers independant assesor is saying it is quite common! Any responses appreciated.

Sadly my Scooby was only 8 months old at the time of impact and looks a bit cosmetically wonky.

just done my own with no problems sounds like they are using cheap parts if they need opening up to fit.

Impreza WRX November 03 Registered. Thought the assessor may be pulling a fast one. Bottom line is they just want it signed off asap.
