Question Roof scoop

I have got a got a roof scoop, already painted and ready to be fitted to my STI. I cant bring myself to drill the hole to fit it. Is there any other way of fixing this to the car?

Thumbs up

Go to Brown Brothers or a bodyshop supplier and get a tube of stuff called Sikkaflex, this is what the pro's use to fix spoilers without drilling holes.

Not sure about the sticky tape Gunner. The Sikkaflex sounds good Trucker Ted, does this affect the paint and if I wanted to could I take it of without damaging the paint?

i use sikaflex in my work,it will work.just make sure its in the right position before it goes off....it takes around 12 hours to set....if you want to remove it after its set,you will have to destroy it...

I have some double sided tape that i can assure you won't come off! At least if the undersate of the scoop is flat or has a 1" flat section all the way around the base!

They do if you have the roof vent underneath the scoop

They can also double up as part of a taxi sign if you need to make a bit of extra cash to pay for mods

No whistling noises, there's a bit of extra wind noise at high speed but it isn't bad.

Im going to have one for sale soon in Sonic Blue if you're interested.

I notice you're in Lancs, why not come and join us sometime (if you havent already that is) everyone's welcome and we are friendly bunch...

Cheers

are you suggesting its not a vent and just a scoop for "looks"???? if so that is worse than the saxos with bonnet scoops!
