Car Jack in Birmingham today
Hi
10am this morning I was car jacked in bordesly green in brum. I was just going back to my car when three guys come by in a black 206. The car screamed to a halt the driver got out and punched me in the face. I then threw the keys and told them to take it and one of the other guys tried to spray me with cs spray or something but thankfully missed. I ran off and called the police and they came within minutes. The car was recovered thanks to Blackjax and there doesnt appear to be any damage. I hope they catch the scum. They are well known by the police so fingers crossed. I hope no one else on here has to go through what I did today. Car is up for sale if anyones interested. I could not have this happen to me again.

Chalk one up to blackjax, hopefully they will learn they can't nick em even with the keys. Thieving Scum. Glad your not too hurt did the right thing giving them the keys. Did the garage get CCTV?

Im ok a bit shook up. It was Alston Road right outside the junior school. There was a witness but they do not want to make a statement.
Description as follows (didnt get a really good look as it happened so quick)
They were asian
Main driver was about 6ft and slim/medium build, dark shortish hair. Passenger was about 6ft 2ish slim and lanky. Did not get a real good look at the third guy.
The car is MY03 and was my pride and joy. I guess I was lucky that all Ive got is a sore cheeckbone.
The police were excellent so big thanks to them.

A white van followed me a bit but I dont know if he had anything to do with them. They did not appear to be very proffessional i.e. could not stop blackjax but they definately do this for a living. They were spotted in washwood heath road driving like loons about an hour before. The 206 was stolen too. The thing is they have nothing to show for there efforts the only winner will be the garage that will probably get my car for peanuts.

bad news mate, sorry to here that this actually happens. Glad your ok though.
+ i'm from S.Wales originally, but in uni in Aston and currently on placement at Goodrich in holgreen. I live in erdington and have toyed with the idea on bringing MY95 up from home to brum with me a couple of times, but after putting up a post on scoobynet asking about other peoples opinions, i was warned not to. So it stays at home rinsing all my cash waiting for me to drive it once a month.
But if things like this happen i think its lucky that i did.

Sorry to hear it mate. I know how it feels. Dont rush into selling the car. I felt the same after a similar incident but with firearms involved. Parked car up and plucked up the courage a few months later to drive it again.

I hope the police get em and throw the book at em. Failing that, I hope they end up getting a damn good kicking and end up being dumped in the bins down a back alley somewhere....exactly where they belong!!

Hey mate, terrible news, sorry to hear it pal, i know exactly what it is like, been to plenty of incidents, seen on cctv and been with the victims like you on many occasions. Hope you can get on with things as normal after a short period, you will be affected for ever now. Dont let these scum win and sell your car because of it, why should they stop you from driving the car you want to. Take care mate, any questions etc feel free to pm me, im a serving copper. Terrible news, especially as my company is soon to move to Newtown, great incentive, for me driving an S3, probably have to sell it and buy some bag of nails- kinda defeats the object of earning good money, doesnt it

Dealt with two Audi S3's in the past six months at the same house!! Both times, two masked up very well built males with a claw hammer and a machete kicked down the door to the house, slashed the guy nicked his keys and car. He had been followed back from work in Salford.

I work in Manchester mate, and trust me car jackings and agg burglary's (breaking down door, twatting you for your motor) is common. Saying that i live here with an Impreza, doors always locked, house doors always locked whilst in no matter what. Most main cities have their problems with car-jacking. But there are many scoobies and powerful cars in Manchester and only say five or so a night are getting taken by these methods. Its a small percentage but press and media and the violence displayed is enought to make you think twice.
