Default 249 bhp classic? prosport

i have an my99 uk turbo with scorpion decat centre and backbox and a green panel filter.
had my car on the rolling road at prosport today and got 249bhp and 300.5 lb torque. just wondered if anyone else has had good figures like that with standardish uk classic?
also like to say i thought the setup at prosport was spot on and i will defineatelly be using them again for services, work etc.

Thumbs up

Thats excellent results from the mods stated.

I previousy had on my MY99 uk classic turbo.... Full decat, ecutek 2.5 ecu and K&N induction kit and that made 267.5 bhp and 252 lb torque.

Well done...

With the greatest of respect to you, I find those figures very hard to believe mate; I'm not saying you're fibbing, was the rolling road working correctly? Cars will FULL decats and a ECUTEK remap usually produce around 260-280 bhp and 260-280ft lbs. So a car with your configuration should be considerably less.

Best.

im not sure i know it sounds a lot aswell thats why i asked. there was a northern rolling road day on the same rollers but i got there an hour after everyone else had gone so i dont know what everyone else thought. the guy at prosport said you get good ones and bad ones its not that unusual. decent fella by the way.

The BHP might be possible but the torque figures are massive...300+??
Ive got a full de cat HKS system, a HKS racing ind' kit and a PE Remap on a '93 WRX and i,m getting 286 bhp @ 6200 rpm and 280 lb/ft torque @ 4000 rpm and i thought that was about as good as it could get without spending silly money.

mine ran 320bhp (256bhp @ wheels) and 280lb/ft at Prosport which is what I expected for the car and mods done

MY00 RA, TSL cat back, ecutek remap, bigger fuel pump, itg filter and runs about 1.4bar

ok , im looking at the graph now. the 300lb was in first gear at about 2000rpm but then it all drops when he changed to fourth and at its highest point (3000 ish rpm) it looks between 250 and 260 lb. i wasnt looking at the graph before just the numbers. does that mean my torque is a true 250/260 and that 300 is wrong?

The figure should be stated on the graph, it should be correct, though mine was low today due to having a battery thats too good and an alternator that stops when the battery is fully charged..... DOH!

you are reading the graph incorectly, what you are seeing is spikes from the run up through the gears, ignore those. Its the final run in top gear graph you should use as reference. If you have a peak torque figure in digits at this high value generated in the first few gears then those figures have to be ignored.

Mine did 265bhp and 260lb torque at Prosport last year. The car is a MY99 with full de-cat, K&N panel, STI intercooler with Y-Pipe, std ECU.

I was suprised at the figures but believe them to be genuine as it was done on the SIDC rolling road day and other Impreza's there where returning expected/similar to previous results.

Think Sonic is running similar figures too with a similar spec.

Well I have a UK MY99 turbo wagon and the only engine mods I have done to it so far are a scoobysport backbox (no decat etc) and a green performance filter.

It was on a rolling road at Power Engineering just before Christmas.
My figures are 249 BHP and 242 LBS/FT torque.
