Default strange noise

Hi everyone i've got a strange noise from the front of my MY 98 uk turbo its a vibrating/buzzing noise thats very loud it happens when i go over 100mph(private track) i've removed the underpanel and its still there,just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what might be the cause and how to cure it.Thanks for any help

only @ 100 mph? or when you reach certain ,000 rpm?

Its only at 95/100 mph and above ,rpm doesn't seem to matter and it makes the noise until i slow to below this speed

ive got the same noise in my o3 sti m8 its like a oooooooooooooooooooooh noise bit like closedown used to be on ya telly that humming noise. its the wind vibrating youre vin plate m8 using it like a reed. try sticking some tape over it then whizz up the road,it should cure it.

Have you checked your tyres??, I once had a knackered tyre on the very inside edge and there was this noise once I reached a certain speed, the speed slowely decreased to about 65mph when I got it checked out ( nearly s*it myself when I saw the tyre )

This was in my yoof though

Hi i've taped my vin plate and its made no difference,its getting vey annoying now please someone help me????
i'm up for any ideas just keep them coming

Also had a good look at my tyres and they seem fine,a little scrubbed on the edges but nothing a few enthusiastic corners won't cause

have a look under the bonnet and see if there is anything else that the wind can vibrate. try cracking ya passenger side window a bit see if its the wind whistleling in somewhere failing that turn ya radio up or drive slower lol
