Still you would have thought that he knew the camera was there (or was it a mobile unit?). The temptation must have been too great. Must be a crackin' bit of road though.
In south Wales there are two current cases involving coppers and drink driving. One is being done for taking and driving away a cop car whilst under the influence - which he later crashed.

I was counght with a Laser few years back in my SMART car....on what i am sure was a dual carriage way, but was told the limit was 30...!
Cought doing 61, they classed it over double the limit..took me to court..fined me i think it was £400 or £450 and baned me for 2 months..!
The coper should have got banned for LIFE!

It is a good bit of road - but the cops know this and are always somewhere about.
The alternative route to Inverness is via the A82 over Glen Coe and up the Great Glen. It is a cracking road. Hell, I even enjoyed it in a 1 litre Micra automatic!

I got £500 fine and 6 points for doing 69mph in a 30 a couple of years ago.
Not big or clever - Just know how bloody lucky I was that:
a) I wasn't banned
and, more importantly,
b) that I never hit anyone!!!
