Question

Anyone had their Scoob fettled by ABP ? I'm thinking of letting them get their grubby mitts on my motor to upgrade the discs/pads to grooved Tarox stuff, and maybe also an HKS or Blitz induction kit.

Unfortunately I can't really afford the AP Racing 4 pots/discs right now, but need new discs...

So a verdict, anyone?

Squizz,

I go there regularly for octane booster. Nice bunch, and I've seen a number of different Scoobys there, mostly imports. Never had my car fettled by them, but reckon that they'd be fine.

ABP - very good, had my Geometry settings done there.

Tarox - heard less than complementary things. There are better pad/disc combos for c£200

Question

Gary...

Which disc/pads would you recommend then? Scoobymania black diamond discs and some pads, or Scoobysport Bremsport group N and pads...

Erm, front and rear - Guess I'm hard on the poor things.

I need grooved discs, preferably cross-drilled (for that boy-racer, stood at the lights image malarky).

Personally I'd go (and have gone) for Bremsport grooved discs and Mintex 1155 Pads. Front set up should cost between £200-250 depending where you go.

Cool

Yup I had my geometry changed there (they call it 'fast road' but is essentially 'Prodrive' settings) plus my Cambelt changed.

Did top job. Looked after me and even gave me a run into town ....well Crewe

The owner John is a scoob nut and had a very smart Sti with all HKS kit on it. I'd recomend them - even though it is a way to there from where I live....

Q - Why is there do decent performance centres is the West Midlands ???? - sounds like an opportunity ?
