anyone else do piggy back units and stuff as the engine is going in a beetle and i wouldn't need half of it. also has anyone fitted an anti lag system or a launch control to a wrx engine

 

Tek or Unichip perhaps. Going in a Beetle!!! Will it fit?

 

not a problem to fit just after some ways to get more power as my mate has a standard one in his. need to upset him but need to fit a piggyback unit or something to set the engine up as it wont be running a cat and will have a charge cooler on it and induction kit to start with any ideas

 

I take it you already have a doner engine ?, if not try to get an STi engine, probably worth the extra if you are upping the power.

A custom remap once the install is complete is probably the way to go.
