What's that noise??
My 97 classic has gained a new interesting noise which sounds MOT threatening to me!!!
On full right lock in reverse i get two to three bumps from what sounds like the front right end!! Sounds like rolling over something!! No idea???
Help anybody?

Had this on my MY98 wagon recently.
On full lock reversing out of a parking space for example, car would almost jump when going back. Quite rythmical just like a CV joint as well, I also suspected the worst.
Would you believe after a little investigation (and I do mean a very little bit of just looking at the wheels ) it was knackered tyres. Tyres been on for 22k so can't comlplain but inside edge extremely worn on one of them and badly own on the other. I guess this was causing it to lose traction.
2 new front tyres and no more knocking everything tip-top again

MY98 Turbo 2000 wagon with PPP (255BHP/276ft.lb), running Goodyear Eagle F1, and I don't hang about either so I was well impressed. TBH I do manage a fair bit of motorway mileage though probably at least 40% of my miles.
