Excuse the ignorance but what exactly is mica paint.

Mica paint is paint which has mica pigment in it. Mica paint is very similar to metailic paint (paint with metalic flakes in it) but has two advantages

The mica flakes don't tarnish like the metallic ones.

Light reflects off mica flakes in many directions but only in two off of metallic flakes so it gives a more reflective appearance

Looks awesome in red, especially when clean. But the only downside is you have to put up with people saying you own a pink car. I think it`s jealousy
