subaru main dealers
why when you say it's an import they don't want to know
and say it is not guarinteed .
Aren't all subarus imported at some time brand new or a few years old ?what is the difference ?

the jap chassis no.s don't work on the database we use we have to submit them to i.m then they contact japan get the relevent info and pass it on to the dealers. but because they are so many people involved it gets a bit like a chinese whisper, but some parts from a uk car do fit and if you know for defo they do ask for them instead and don't mention it's for a import!

But they always ask for a chassis number, regardless of what you want, so that won't work......at least at Southamptons ' number 1 dealer '. You'll have to have the actual part number if you want something, or use a mates U.K. chassis number.
