paint swirls
not hade my car long and every time i see it in the sun it looks like the previous owner has cleaned it with sand paper its dark mica blue witch dont help any advice on how to get them out would be very very apreciated
Use Swissol cleanse & then wax with Swissol wax. Make sure that everything you use to clean the car is washed every week. Use a cotton terry towel to wash the car with, not a sponge. When you wash, cleanse & wax use a side to side movement, not round & round.

Using conventional 'polishes' will put swirls on your car.....
A polish, does just that it polishes the surface of the paintwork. Just like a metal polish only much finer, the residue that dries white and marks plastic trim is clay, this is used to bulk up the polish and is a carrier for any small amount of waxes or resins that may be in there to provide a bit of protection. The better quality the polish the finer the clay and less abrasive it is, but it is still abrasive. It also depends on how you remove the dirt from the vehicle, poor cleaning techniques will also add to the swirl, scratch count. Some finer cleaning plishes like Zymol cleaner polish will reduce the effect of swirls as they produce even finer scratches that are difficult to see. But why clean your motor with something abrasive? Beats me too!
Personally I would never use a polish only ever a glaze.

From: was the drivers seat of Richard Burns's P1 now in a boxster S
I did the p1 with meguiars wash, quick clay bar, scratch x and Gold class polish at the weekend. Took me 9 hours in total (4.5 hours just clay barring, God knows how long a slow clay system would take
). I was on the verge of collapse when I'd finished but boy was it worth it, I couldn't believe the amount of crap the clay bar got off. Its also removed 90% of the swirl marks. The cars a slightly darker blue now and looks like did the day Richard Burns picked it up.
