I have to agree with JWKC and Miles. The car was definately a bodykitted Civic coupe. The American modified import scene is really into Civics-most of them end up with insane bodykits and turbo conversions.
Still, he pussied out with the 911 didn't he?
The 911 boys should be thankful it wasn't a 22B-it could have brought a completely different twist to the film LOL

Did any of you guys catch the real Gumball Rally from UK to central Europe on CH4. Some guy had a P1, he was in the race, saw in side and outside of the car. The people that were racing were seriouslly going for it... police or no police, I'm sure a guy got a £14,000 fine in germany, yes £14,000... you did read me right... for racing against the police... crazy, LOL.
See Ya!

NickM,
It was on CH4 a couple of weeks back under the name of Gumball 2000. Load of celebrities were involved. Cars ranged from Maclaren F1, Ferrari, Subarus, Jags, 911, etc.
Full on 130+ MPH racing. All the cars were numbered and had sponsor names stuck on them!
I think if you do a search on GUMBALL in BBS, you'll find a topic on it!
It looked pretty good. One guy was in a XKR doing about 130 and a Ferrari 355 just breezed past him!
Oh yeah... on the topic of what car was in Gone in 60 secs, that was with out a doubt a Kitted up Civic Coupe!
See Ya!
