Default 03 WRX seat wear?

My car has covered 19,000 miles in 20 months and the drivers seat shows signs of wear in the small area bottom right on the upright. This was even noticeable when I bought the car with only 11,000 miles on the clock. Would be interested to hear from anyone else who has the same and whether this is worth claiming for on the warranty. Cheers.

21,000 and still fine - seat material is a bit "loose" on the base but that's it. Stains easily with rain etc.

Otherwise fine,

'03 WRX 28,000 miles and haven't noticed any wear. I am very conscious though that because of the positioning of the B pillar the side bolsters on the seats take a beating when getting in and out. I guess if you or the previous owner did a lot of short journeys getting in and out a lot that would increase wear?

Cheers for the replies.

Can't speak for the previous owner (audio company I think) but although my trip to work is short, I'm only getting in and out of the car 4 times a day Monday to Friday and no more than 10 times at weekends. I'm going to query this with the dealer (20k service) at the end this month to see if it's worth putting in a claim.

My MY02 seat started to fray a bit. I did a lot of short trips in the car. PX'd it before it had got too bad so never tried to claim on the warranty.
