Someone in a recent thread mentioned their worry about mega depreciation perhaps now associated with scoob ownership. I have put together the following information FoC for scoobynet readers. The period covered is April 04 to Dec. 04 and relates to forecourt prices (the caveat is that the start and end values (not shown) are average, so don't blame me if your local dealer does not abide by these. Over this period a 00X wrx has depreciated by a (mean) average of £325 a month and an 03 £425 a month. Using the same robust methodology an 03 sti has depreciated by £550 and a sti ppp by a whooping £625 each month. For comparison purposes a 00X classic depreciated by an average £300.
