Default WARRANTY QUESTION

Hi guys n gals...hope u all had a good new year.....

does ne1 know off hand, if i was 2 change my standard dumpvalve for an after market 1 (i.e bailey etc...) would it affect my warranty?

ne help appreciated, thanx JAY

Depands on how good your garage is. I think you'll find Subaru head office would say that changing the DV would blow the warranty.

my garage (sparrshats) said they dont mind just as long as its a good part better that orig. as i have a 03wrx with a baileys vta dv, very happy with it its not to loud and sound dif to all other dv's. go for it mat, but keep the old one then if you do have to take the car back to the garage just swap um back over, its only about a 5 min job.

yeah thats wot i was thinkin, thnx 4 the advice m8.....
p.s. does vta mean vent to atmosphere?

ANY mod to the car = invalidated warrenty..... read the small print.

BUT some dealers will "turn blind eye" - usually the ones who fit aftermarket parts for you
