Buying Nikon D70 from US web site
Hi,
Considering purchasing Nikon D70+lens from US web site www.RoyalCamera.com.
Anybody used this company, know of issues buying US sourced cameras?

Ratings are not that good for this company
In addition, I would check whether the camera you are getting is a USA market one or an import. On top of that, you need to know how the warranty works, is it worldwide or USA only etc. i.e. what do you do if the camera breaks down ?
Anyway, buy a Canon, they are better

Also, remember the import duties if buying from outside the EC.

I bought my 20D from http://www.adorama.com when it first came out with a 17-85 lens.
Saved myself over £500 when the exchange rate was at it's best
Just becarefull that customs & excise don't get you when the courier co. deliver..
I have so far avoided them

Bought a Casio Ex-Z40 to replace my Casio Ex-2 from www.buydigicams.com. (US based web site though you would never guess at first glance)
Product was shipped from West Lafayette IN, USA by DHL and arrived without a hitch.
Due to the exchange rate I got the camera for £162, got a free carry case and 1 year 'Worldwide' warranty. Including shipping it was £174.
