Default Afterburner Vortex or Ninja?

Hi peeps,

My car is a totally standard wagon and from reading the forums i believe that the first thing to do is to get rid of the standard exhaust.im just about to buy one off scoobyworld but,

1, do i get the Afterburner or the Ninja and

2, it says that the angled exit one gets better performance .

Is this true? and will it look ok coming out of the back of my MY00?

Steve

i have a ninja but considered the afterburner (pre vortex), the ninja looks the business but is still relatively quiet, if you have a wagon sound resonates more inside the cabin as the back is open. so i personally would discount the afterbutner for noise reasons.

I'm also looking for a back box for my wagon (MY01). Anyone tried the Firestorm or Typhoon from www.tsl-motorsport.co.uk ?

Was in the same position 3 weeks ago. Had a scoobysport backbox already, but wanted more grumble on tickover and more rasp at revs. Spoke to Neil at Scoobyworld, initially about the Ninja, but he told me it wouldn't be much different to the one I already had so I went for the angled Vortex instead, all I can say is it deffo louder.........I've never had so many people turn to look at the car as I approach them (its embarassing sometimes !)
I also wasn't sure about the look of the angled exit either but its steadily grown on me, so I think I'll keep it for awhile yet.
If you want me to take a pic tomorrow morning, I can, and I'll post it then. (car is filthy though )
