pls help advice needed
i have just agreed with a scoobynet regular to by his headlights.he asked me to make a bank transfer and he'll send it with couriers.eventhough he seems like a very nice person, because i've had some bad experiences before (not with scoobynet) i am just scared that i won't receive what i want. is there a guarantied way of doing this as i don't want to offend the guy but just not 100% sure. unfortunately the distance is too great to travel as he is in scotland and i am in london

There is no guarantees when buying from another netter, but ive purchased stuff from other scoobynet members before and had no problems at all,Go with your instinct matey and you can always name and shame if you get stitched up,i would
You could always get a courier service to deliver payment to him/her and get the same driver to collect the goods at same time
mark

Can you name him and see if anyone else has had any dealings with him/her? Might not be a guarantee but might help ease your mind
I have bought a load of stuff off here and never ever had a problem

just check through his old posts and see if anyone else has dealt with him!
have dealt with a few people on sn like this and have not had a problem!
apart from one bloke who thought i was trying to rip him off because i asked for his bank details to pay the money in!
and yes i told him to stick it and bought the item off someone else instead! dozy sod!
