hello
im very new, so new i registed about 5 mins ago, i have have just got my hands on a import impreza wrx sti type r(and what a car!!!), i have got some questions about the car.i do hope you can help.
next to the hand brake there is a dial that says C.Diff and in the dail pod it moves a light up and down, from a green box up to a amber box(sorry about my desciption but i previously own a mk2 golf vr6 which didnt have alot of elec gadjits on it).
if anyone can help i would really appreciate it.

sorry but i cant answer your question not technically anyway. its the differental control, i would keep it in the green for now all i know is that it changes the amount of power delivered to the front and rear wheels.

DCCD is fantastic and one of the reasons I bought my Type R.
I tend to use the DCCD more in winter on wet roads (one notch up this morning on some of the flooded roads locally) and in heavyish snow (middle setting). At all other times I leave it fuully open (bottom green setting).
Can also be useful for high speed cornering/handling but you'll need to get used to using the 'dial pod' in mid swing (i.e whilst driving). Can't ever imagine having another Scoob without this gizmo now.
