Angry Speeding fine question???

Just got the notice through the door, 94 on the motorway by a camera van, Fair enough, hands up I did it.

But my question is: can i request proof? IE: Photo? the reason I ask is I have a garage door opener(LRC100) which activated Alarm and Lights etc and I still received a notice through the post.

regards
Dan

Might be worth getting the LRC100 tested.

mmm, might be worth a look see, It went off like it has before (4 times, Three camera vans and one hand held), really loud noise and flashing light, not sure if dirt would effect it, as alot of salt on roads and the scoob is pretty dirty. Not sure how you would go about testing it??? anyone know where I can get this done? or am I going to have to do a mission impossible on the local police station to borrow theres???!!!

You can indeed request a picture. They might invite you to court to view it though, but most will just send a copy in the post.

Not all will

Suffolk wouldn't send one to id & quoted SS182 RTA1972 (whatever) to get me to 'fess up to the driver but then further didn't send one to prove the offence...

After 6 months they dropped the whole episode

My view is that if you don't ask you don't get and as an added bonus clogs up the system

They want to treat you like some criminal scum for straying over a nominal limit somebody picked out of the air 30 years ago behave like it and fight it all the way with as much agro for the system as you can. Funny enough they seem to put a lot more effort into catching motorists and suppressing motorist’s rights than drug users. There rather than actually bother to catch them they just legalise drug abuse!
