Default STD Philips cassette player from UK Scoob MY00

Hi

Wondering if anyone can help, anyone have the manual for the standard cassette/radio player that come on the later UK turbo's? If you do could i get you to scan the pages where it shows you how to operate the thing?

I know i could just press all the buttons and hope for the best but the manual would be easier

BTW its a Philips 79RC388/92.

Cheers.

Will have a look later, and scan mine if it's the one.

Question

I can't figure out how to change the clock time. Can anyone give any pointers?

If anyone manages to scan a copy I would be interested.

Damian.

Mine wasn't Pete, it had a removable front part-panel for security.

I still have it in the box the new headunit, (since replaced with a newER headunit ) came in

Cheers mate .... they have no code, you are quite right.

Now, I have put it in my MX5 as that old one gave up the ghost - anyone any idea of what the fuse rating should be in-line 12Volts to this unit?

Turning the volume up on the unit in the MX5 has blown the original fuse, I replaced with a 1 Amp - ok, until the volume was turned up then that too blew!!

It is clearly drawing a lot of current when on highish volume

Anyone know what the protection was on the Impreza MY00 for this Philips unit?

Come on engineer. In teh worst case: 35watts peak x 4 = 140 / 12 = 11.66667..... 10amp fuse should do it if your ****, 15amps if you don't care LOL

Otherwise read the rating from the owners manual or try and be bothered to lift the bonnet on your Impreza and check the fuse for that circuit, you'll probably find that is 15amps too. LOL
