Smile How many times your Laser Jammer saved you?

I've had a jammer on mine for approx 6 months and it has sucessfully protected my licence past 3 $camera vans and once by plods using laser gun on an empty motorway.

Result!

How many times yours saved you?

I've had my road angel for 11 months and it's saved me 3 times that I know of - since that would have meant a ban, I'm quite glad I bought it now.

Target LRC-100.

My original LRC100 started playing up so I sent it back to manufacturer but couldn't drive without "protection" so brought another LRC100. Manufacturer sent me a new LT400 but I cant be arsed to change them over.

I'm selling the LT400 http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=383917

Not to tell you that you've passed it though, but that the ba$tards just tried robbing you of your licence and money and you sucessfully protected yourself

Cornelius - do you mean that the laser detector on your snooper has activated? I ask because it never has on mine, plus I was led to believe that if it does go off it us usually too late. Just interested in your experiences.

Not being funny but just don't speed! I have been caught a few times and been banned once. I then joined the Fire Service and since have seen enough to drive like a saint!!

I know that any Scoob owner is no doubt experienced but please save it for the track as I don't like scraping you off the tarmac. We went to onne the other week that was not nice. Condolences to the family and I am extremeley sorry that we could not have done more.

I guess not, but I know what it's like to take the bus for 6 months and get lifts from friends. I also know what it's like to put someone in a body bag (after the doctor had arrived annd pronouced him dead), sorry to be morbid. I like to drive fast on the track, a true test of driver ability.

You dont need to be driving like a maniac to be inadvertantly speeding... 63mph in a 60... 74mph on a motorway... all easily done momentarily if you're trying to keep an eye on whats going on all around you.. IE not staring at your speedo the whole while to make sure you dont creep over the speed limit by mistake....

It's true. Sorry chaps, I don't mean to preach, we've all been there. I know a chap who got done for doing 32 in a 30 limit! When questioning the copper reply was "0 tolerance). That's harsh, sorry to go on.

10% should bee given for speedo error etc.

Laser detectors (like snooper) dont work against laser devices. By the time your device sounds the plod has your speed.

Jay. You should be able to fit it yourself. Quite straightforward.

I don't drive the fire engines yet. Must be something to do with my driving record!?!

Whilst on probation (4 years) you cannnot be put up for your HGV, but after that............

I got a letter from the transport minister (computer generated) to say that if I got caught again I would be out of the job. I suppose that was quite humbling.

But it also picks up the over spray, i've had mine (RA2) go off when the plod was on the other side of a bend.
