Smile 2005 WRX and 2004 WRX differences

Has anyone here driven a 2005 WRX, who currently or has previously owned an 03/04 WRX? I'm interested in hearing the differences in driveabilty/handling/steering. I'm test driving both WRX and STi 05 but not for a couple of weeks. I owned a WRX 03 PPP which I part ex'd (mistakenly) for an Evo 7 FQ 300 (nice car but not for me), and as I miss the Scoob so much i'm close to getting another very soon! My grievances with my 03 were steering wheel far too big, and soft on corners, despite having Prodrive springs. So maybe now the new WRX has a small steering wheel and inverted struts, it may be exactly what i'm after, unless the STi is FAR better, and then i may go for an EU Import, brand new, at least £3500 cheaper than here in UK! Thanks in advance for your help and advice!
