set just about 500 rpm before limiter cuts in, so you don't suddenly hit the limiter half way past that Evo you have just pounced on!!
hitting that power "brick wall" does nothing for the heatbeat when somethings coming the other way.

Set it to the range where your peak power is. Wht is the point in thrashing it to near the redline if peak power was at 6500?

You should be able to feel the best place to change gear. Feel it then set it
