WILL A MY00 ENGINE FIT MY93

Exclamation WILL A MY00 ENGINE FIT MY93

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE ENGINE OUT OFF A 2000 WRX WILL FIT MY 93 WRX BUT I'VE PUT AN 97 STI GEARBOX IN .

cant see why not altho will need the wiring/sensors swapped to match..... i fitted a P1 engine and gearbox into a uk 97 but did everything wiring loom etc....

WHICE WIREING /SENSORS DO YOU MEAN AS I HAVE BEEN TOLD TO TAKE THE ELEC CENTRE DIFF OFF THE GEARBOX AND PUT THE OLD ONE BACK ON CAUSE IT WILL BE BETTER THAN THE ELECTRIC ONE NOT WORKING .

not sure exactly as i just changed everything... its just sensors on the engine should just be swap from your old engine

THE THING IS THAT I BOUGHT A 93 WRX AND 97 STI 555 SMASHED UNDERNETH AND ENGINE BUT VERYTHING ELSE WAS ALRIGHT SO I PUT VERYTHING FROM THAT ON MY 93 BUT NOW I NEED AN ENGINE BUT I HAVE ALL THE INLET AND TURBO AND THINGS SO WILL IT HELP HAVEING ALL THEM OR NOT .

The answer is no.
You cannot do a straight swap on these engines, one is a phase 1 and the other a phase 2.
You would need a wiring loom, your ecu wouldnt work properly due to the differences (ie 380cc v 440cc injectors), so basically, too much hassle with no gains.
