Just remember that they cost 250quid new. They have a screw underneath and a bolt on the end that fits into a captive plastic nut type thing. It sounds like the bolt and nut are both turning at the same time so you will need to cut the bolt to get them off. You cannot buy the brackets seperately so you will need to stick back on with spoiler tape. (presumably after colour coding?) Mine are stuck back on

Had the same problem with mine on one side. In the end the metal bolt sheared in half yet the plastic clip it screwed into was fine!!??
I haven't got around to putting them back on, was going to colour code them with the side skirts and spoilers (when I get them).
