Had the pleasure of being taken out for a ride in one of these yesterday. Awesome just awesome. Pictures don't do justice to the sheer presence these cars creat. Unfortunately I was in the car with a *** of a driver who did the car and the reputation of Subaru no favours.
At the end of the test drive he happened to mention there are exactly 6 22bs left in the uk. I laughed said bollox etc etc bla bla.
Still I don't know how many there are. Approximate numbers please?

There are atleast 9 type UK's left, 2 others that are not numbered, and there must be around another 20 JDM cars, so a good 30+ in the UK, if not more, if you really want to find out, then look here>>> www.22b.com

Maybe six Type Uk's although I would be suprised if the figure was that low. There were only 16 official Prodrive imported 22B's.
A lot more imported from Japan since though .

Really? Wow he may have driven like an *** but he was more or less right. I consider myself very lucky to have experienced the ride.

Andrew I had the shear joy of diving the very 1st 22B in the country. It was delivered to Warrender (up here in the North West) and sold to Paul O'neil (Mel C of the spice girls brother) Mel paid £55k for the car and Paul had £5k ICE install within a week.

Around day 10 the 22 started playing up and it went to Prodrive who COULD NOT IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM !!!!!!!! Okay the problem was intermittent but still.........Prodrive should have sorted it. The problem was eventually resolved by a London based Co and when it came back to paul he cam round to my house (I had a Cozzy at the time that Paul was always begging to drive but he was 17 MEL ACTUALLY BOUGHT HIM THE CAR FOR HIS BIRTHDAY AND PAID FOR THE STEREO AND THE INSURANCE WHICH WAS 7.5k FOR A 17 YR OLD)

Anyway I eventually succumbed to paul's plea for a drive of my Cozzt and said I'd have to make do with his 22B. We blasted them round North wales for the day and though I tried to swap Paul he wasn't havin any of it and Mel would have bo11ocked him.

Dunno bout how many in uk but theres a little history of the FIRST

The owner of the Subaru Garage near me in Cyprus has an official UK 22B in his showroom. He wants Cyp£68,000 for it which is a hell of alot!!!!
