Talking Q about impreza rally cars.

Why do most of the impreza rally cars have there exhaust exit on the right side, not the traditional left side?

it can go straight back instead of crossing the propshaft , if you have to cross the car the exhaust will end up lower and will probably end up getting ripped off

Probably because they are LHD?

Its so that the transmission is easy to get at in case of repair or replacement. LHD hasn't got any influence on it. Look at hte LHD road cars they are the same as UK spec cars
