Perhaps some of you peeps can help me out here, under hard exceleration i get a rattle comming from the engine, it happens when the boos come's in nad bu the time full boos is on its really quite loud!!!, im thinking heat shield but would appreciate some suggestions.

Best suggestion is take it back to where you bought it from and get them to fix it.......heat shield sounds favourite though or exhaust touching the body somewhere

Its a loose bolt/nut either on or just under the intercooler.
Take it back to whoever you bought it from and ask them to look.
The very thing happened on my own MY02 UK STI (Prodrive), and the dealer sorted it out real quick. They removed the intercooler and found the loose but/bolt.
