Wink

Looks like he forgot that European and Japanese performance cars WILL take corners, so just went straight on like you would in a Yank Tank.:

Question Wow!

I'm astonished by the number of people responding to that thread who have suffered a stuck WOT. I have never heard of anyone having that happen to them. Is it a feature of having a lot more automatics on the road?

Thumbs up Urban Legend Status

Thank you, thank you. I created that satellite animation simply to amuse myself, but I guess it amused quite a few other people as well. Over 5,000 forums (just like this one) have linked to that image, and I'm passing about 6 GB of traffic per day just on that one image alone. With the sheer number of forums that are linking to the image without linking to the story, it's already achieved Urban Legend status in less than a week. There are dozens of versions of the story floating around; everything from "the kid was drunk and running from the cops" to "it was a street race gone bad, but the Evo won".
