I have a Japanese spec MY03 Sti Spec C with a AH591(factory) ECU. The speed input wire(green with thin white stripe) going into the computer has a insulated connector on it that you can simply unplug. I purchased the car as a used import. When I took the cover off to see the computer, I noticed that the connector was disconnected. Does anyone know what effect this will have the running of the car? Will the abs/airbags still work? The car seems to drive normally. Only recently got the car so haven't tried to see if the 180kph limiter is still there.
