Default Help wanted..

Hi, been advised that my classic wrx is running with too much fuel (being unburnt) through the pipe. This having destroyed the lamba sensor, only thing i can think is the chip is overfuelling the vehicle to create power. Is there anyway of reducing emissions without having to resort back to the standard chip???

Also require help on obtaining a import classic wrx lamba sensor as much different to uk spec one, being that the hole size in the pipe is near to width of a biro pen. (uk spec being 3/4 of an inch)

I have tried various places but any feedback from this would be appreciated.

Overfueling normally gives less power and a tactic used on Subaru's to 'Cool' internals. If the engine ran leaner, to a degree the Engine would be have better performance. IIRC

You'd be also better to state the Car type and model year this would be helpful

I would have thought overfueling would be MAF sensor fault but without a better description of how it runs !!

It going alright till it ??
It's never gone OK and now it's ?

ECU's don't alter programs on there own (MY98/99 on do calibrate themselves )

Sorry not trying to sound rude or offish, but Supplying some info and in the Technical section may get better replies from more knowledgable guy's than me
