Parts from Japan. How long do they take?
Spoke to the bodyshop a few days ago dealing with the repair on my car (MY96 WRX). They say Subaru have told them the panels needed (wing, grille, bumper etc) are different to UK versions and will have to order them from Japan. Just wondered if anyone has an idea how long they take to come once ordered?

The bonnet is ally but was only caught very lightly and will repair. The other panels, I know, are the same as UK but the bodyshop have to order them through Subaru who are telling them a different story. Actually went to the Subaru dealer for a quote but the estimater didn't seem that interested in the work and also said they'd have to order them from Japan. (bollox)

ALL JDM spec cars have Alluminium bonnets, if it's got a steel one, it's been replaced.

Why not try www.japanparts .com. I used them to get some parts at a better price than uk dealers could offer and it was delivered to my house in under 10 days.
