CAR ARTZ pictures of your car
Wasn't sure where to post this, so thought "General" was the best option.
I've just received my print from Dave at Car Artz in Glasgow and have to say that it is a brilliant bit of artwork.
For example:
Now that isn't my motor....mine's green, but dave was most helpful and did a great job on a pic of my car.
I saw a very similar picture in their "Gallery" and then sent a photo of my car for a quotation for a custom print.
The attention to detail is great and Dave even asked what the centre caps of the wheels were and what the front grille badge was!!
I actually ended up with two prints, as he didn't notice my badge was cerise and did a black one. After he spotted it, he did another with a correctly coloured badge and then sent me both.
I believe that the artwork is now on file at Car Artz and I can easily order other merchandise such as keyrings, etc.
I will post a pic of the actual print when I get chance, but believe me...it is good.
The price.....£45 for personalised service ....not bad me thinks!!!

You know what, I took my wife and two kids along to our monthly car club meet, where we had dinner and drinks.
Cost of meal for 4 - £40
Cost of petrol - £15
Total, around £55
Where is it now? well lets not go into detail on that one.
My point is, we didn't need to spend that money, but it was a car related event that we enjoy taking part in. Some may consider it a luxury, but for us it's "our thing", along with all the other car related events we attend.
I get quite annoyed when people question my work, as I spend a considerable amount of time making sure my customers get exactly what they want, in this case a highly detailed reproduction of their prized posession.
The feedback I received from Marty made my day, as he seemed very happy with what I provided him with and never once questioned it's value.
Damn, it must be my time of month or something, I don't usually get rattled

I've had two pictures of my car (before and after various mods) done by Dave and I would definitely have him do some more work if it were required (which it could be soon! )
Dave, I know my wife (Karen) asked you about doing bikes, and you said no at the time, but have you given it a try yet? We both have bikes that the "normal" caricaturists don't do (or haven't yet anyway).

Hah....I never even thought that Dave might be a member of Scoobynet!!!! DOH!!
Don't want to take work away from him here, but if he's not "doing" bikes, I know of a site/company that does....erm...do them.
I'll wait for Dave's reply before I link to it.

Not got anything from CarArtz yet, but seriously considering it. Stunning piccies, and I think the price is reasonable.
