I need peoples opinions on what exhaust system to get on my STi 8. I have been looking at:-

• Afterburner vortex (angled exit) Full system.
• Blitz Nur Spec R. Full system.
• .....Any other suggestions?

I really would appreciate peoples view & knowlage.

I have no other engines mods, & i want the most power gains possible. with a good deep rumble as a tone of the exhaust!

Any views would b welcome. & also mentions of good companies to get them from at a good price!!

I don't think you'll get much louder than the Blitz, they rock.

Just ask my neighbours!

I got mine (and had it fitted) from Power Engineering in Uxbridge.

I'm not so keen on the angled exit exhausts so I'm gonna say Blitz as well.

I've just ordered mine (although it's only the Nur Spec back box) from stiracing.com

The Blitz has a slightly angled exit, it points a bit towards the nearside rather than strait backwards. I think they call it slash cut don't they?

Makes scaring pedestrians easier, it makes some lovely pops and crackles under engine braking.

I would go with original hayward and scott or see what scoobysport are now offering.

Blitz like HKS don't sit right and can give you clearance issues at the back.

Plus they are loud but bot in a nice way.

Got the Afterburner Vortex straight exit (angled exit looked a bit gay and I can't believe you would notice any difference in performance anyway!) on my RB5, looks the Bollox and sounds sweet, nice deep burble, wouldn't say it was too loud, had the same dilema as you before I bought it but so far no complaints from the missus or my 12 week old son! It's only loud when your hooning around locally once on the motorway get to about 80 in fith and it quietens right down.
