Cenral Locking Button On The Door 04 WRX
Can anyone tell me if this button on the door console should be illuminated at night when your lights are on, because when driving at night and locking the doors that split second to look for that button is a pain in the a$$ because mine isn't illuminated or is this the norm.. cheers

One of the many (hahaha!) mods on the MY05. At last, there is a light behind the drivers door window switch and the central locking button. Maybe the MY06 will extend to lights behind all the the window buttons.... shock horror!

You can set the alarm to lock the doors for you when the ignition is turned. IIRC you turn the key to the III position (ignition on without starting) and press the button on the key, then press either 4 or 5 on the alarm keypad and switch off ignition. Next time you switch on the doors should lock, unlocking when you switch off. If you don't want them to lock, ie whilst de-icing, then turn the ignition whilst the door is still open.
