I need to upgrade my Scooby...
Sorry if you're thinking, 'oh no, not another boring thread...', but I am really confused. I have an DBM UK MY00 with PPP, quickshift and 17" OZ P1 alloys. I have been wanting to update the car for a while and it now looks like I'll have the cash to do so. It's a simple as this - I want another Scooby so which one do I go for?
- WR1
- STi Type UK 2004 (cheap as chips at the moment)
- STi Type UK 2005
- Import STi
- Talk to Mr Litchfield
It's got to have:
- four doors
- a warranty
- similar performance to my MY00 + PPP
What would you go for at the moment? My gut is telling me to wait for an MY05 STi but you can pick up an MY04 STi for a great price at the moment...
Also, I am going to consider insurance this time as well. I have been quoted £755 fully comp, protected no-claims on a £30K WR1 in London! I am currently paying £950 for my £9K MY00+PPP????!!!! What the f*ck is that all about? The WR1 has a f*cking PPP!
Help!

Thanks for the replies, but...
- Porsche - it's going to be my only car and I've got a 3 month old baby so I need four doors!
- Type 25 - I could probably afford one of these but I wouldn't be happy with the one year warranty or the ridiculous insurance...
I would go for a WR-1 but the MY05 STi handling reviews are outstanding...
Mark.

I'd test drive both to be honest and that should make up your mind.
The WR1 will be cheaper to insure than a Sti PPP.
If you have any questions about the WR1, you're best to visit www.wr1oc.co.uk
